Teen stabbed to death near Old Leigh pub
Tragedy struck just after 6pm on Friday, 26 February, when an 18-year-old man was rushed to hospital with stab wounds. Despite emergency efforts, he sadly died shortly afterwards.
Attack outside The Peterboat in High Street
Police say the victim was attacked close to The Peterboat pub in Old Leigh’s High Street. Two suspects have already been arrested as part of the ongoing investigation.
Officers hunting witnesses and footage
Detectives are combing the Old Leigh area for clues. They thank witnesses who’ve come forward but urge anyone who saw the incident, or has mobile phone, CCTV or dash cam footage, to contact police immediately.
