Tilehurst Burglary: Police Hunt Two Men Caught on CCTV

Police are on the lookout for two men caught on CCTV linked to a Tilehurst burglary. The incident happened on Thursday 27 June at around 2.50pm on Halls Road.

Door Kicked In, Laptop Stolen

One man kept watch while the other fiddled with the lock before kicking the front door wide open. He slipped inside the house and stayed for about seven minutes.

The thief then left carrying a laptop bag containing a dark grey Hewlett Packard laptop. The pair were last seen walking towards the roundabout connecting Langley Hill, Park Lane, and Halls Road.

Police Appeal for Info

PC Petar Stoyanov of Newbury police station said: “I am releasing these images as I believe that these men may have information that is vital to this investigation. I urge anyone who recognises these men to contact police on the 24-hour non-emergency number 101 quoting reference ‘43190194839’ or to make a report online.”

“Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously via independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
