Parcel Driver Threatened and Robbed in Swinton Layby
At around 5.15pm on Sunday 20 November, a 33-year-old parcel delivery driver was forced to hand over packages in a terrifying robbery on Golden Smithies Lane, Swinton.
Dark Van Pulls Up, Thugs Jump Out
The driver had stopped in a layby to take a break in his black Volkswagen Golf when a dark-coloured Transit van, believed to have a registration plate starting with ‘K’, pulled in behind him.
Three men leapt out. Witnesses say they were white, dressed in dark clothes, and their faces were covered. The gang threatened the driver before snatching several parcels from his car.
Police Hunt for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
