Rape Investigation Underway After Shocking Attacks in Exeter
Two terrifying incidents rocked the Musgrave Row area of Exeter and the car park behind Topsham Fire Station between 2am and 5am, leaving a female victim traumatised.
Victim Supported by Specialist Officers
Detective Inspector Tanya Youngs revealed: “The female victim is currently being supported by specially trained officers as enquiries continue.”
She urged anyone with information to come forward. “We are appealing for witnesses and would ask anyone who saw a blue Mercedes E-class car in the area during that timeframe to contact us immediately.”
Three Men Arrested and Released on Bail
- Three men, aged 26 (Exeter), 22 (Topsham), and 32 (Torquay), were arrested on suspicion of rape.
- All have been released on police bail pending further investigation.
- Two men must return on Thursday 10 November; the third on Friday 11 November.
