Brazen Attempted Robbery at Devizes Jewellers Foiled
Police are hunting three masked raiders who tried to rob Estcourt Jewellers on Estcourt Street, Devizes, at around 1:45pm on August 24.
Thieves Demand Cash, Flee Empty-Handed
Two men burst into the jewellers and demanded money from the till. Thankfully, staff didn’t hand over any cash, forcing the robbers to flee without a penny.
Getaway Car with Covered Plates
The suspects, all clad in dark clothes and full-face balaclavas, escaped with a driver in a silver Vauxhall Astra. The vehicle had its number plates covered. Witnesses last saw them turning left at the Dominos roundabout.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
