Shocking Stabbing in Shadwell: Man Survives Attempted Murder
Detectives in Tower Hamlets are hunting for witnesses after a brutal stabbing on Cable Street, Shadwell. The violent attack happened at 5.56pm on Friday, 1 June, when police received reports of a man being stabbed.
Young Man Stabbed Multiple Times
Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene and found a 22-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was quickly taken to a hospital in east London. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening. His family have been informed.
One Arrest Made as Investigation Gears Up
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is now in custody at an east London police station. Detectives continue piecing together how the attack unfolded.
Detective Constable Megan Bushell, Tower Hamlets CID, said: “We have made one arrest and continue to build a picture of the attack. I urge anyone who saw a confrontation before the stabbing or who noticed people fleeing the scene afterward to come forward. Your information could be key to our inquiry.”
