Skeletal remains found near Worlds End Road in Greensforge spark police probe. Staffordshire Police were called at 3.25pm on Wednesday, April 16, after a member of the public stumbled upon the gruesome discovery on open land.

Police Launch Investigation

A force spokesperson said:

“At around 3.25pm on Wednesday, April 16, we were called to reports of skeletal remains found by a member of the public on land near to Worlds End Road, Greensforge.

At this time, the remains have not been identified. A scene has been put in place while we carry out early stage enquiries and establish the full circumstances.”

Crime Scene Secured as Forensics Work

The area remains cordoned off while officers and forensic teams scour the site for evidence. Police are working to uncover how the remains ended up there.

Public Urged to Come Forward

Anyone with information or who witnessed suspicious activity near Worlds End Road is urged to contact Staffordshire Police. Call 101, use the Live Chat on the police website, quoting incident number 401 of April 16.
