Scotland Yard Hunts Violent Murder Suspect Arlind Hashani
Scotland Yard has launched an urgent manhunt for 20-year-old Arlind Hashani. He is wanted over the brutal stabbing murder of 29-year-old Ahmed Jama.
Jama was fatally stabbed on December 29, 2023, near Gaymead on the Abbey Estate, Abbey Road, in the Rous area. The shocking killing just after Christmas stunned the local community and sparked a major police investigation.
Multiple Arrests Made, But Key Suspect Still on the Run
- A 21-year-old was arrested on January 4 on suspicion of murder.
- A 25-year-old was detained on January 7 for assisting an offender.
- Two more 25-year-old men were arrested on January 17 for conspiracy to commit murder.
All four suspects have since been released on bail as the probe continues. However, Hashani remains at large and is considered dangerous.
Police Warn Public: Do Not Approach Hashani
“We urgently need to trace the whereabouts of Arlind Hashani. He is considered to be dangerous and should not be approached,” said Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson.
