A chilling daylight murder has rocked Hanwell, West London, after a woman was fatally attacked on Uxbridge Road. Police have launched a full murder probe and arrested a man at the scene.

Despite a huge effort by London Ambulance Service, including London’s Air Ambulance and specialist hazardous area teams, the woman—believed to be in her 20s—was pronounced dead at 12:50pm.

Metropolitan Police were called at 12:11pm and quickly arrived on the scene to find the victim critically injured. They have since confirmed the death as unexplained and are treating it as murder.
