A gang has been targeting commercial premises across the South East, stealing large amounts of cooking oil. Their unusual crime spree has baffled local businesses.
Kent Police Nab Thieves in the Act
But the culprits’ run of luck ended on Thursday, 9th March. The Kent Road Police Unit spotted their vehicle and decided to search it. Inside, officers found large containers of stolen cooking oil.
Two Arrested Over Slick Heist
The discovery led to the immediate arrest of two individuals believed to be behind the thefts. Police continue to investigate to see if more offences are linked to the pair.
