Sex Attack Sparks Police Manhunt in Aldershot
Police launch urgent hunt after 21-year-old man sexually assaulted in Aldershot in the early hours.
Attack on Badshot Lea Road
Shortly after 1.30am on January 7, a man walking along Badshot Lea Road was targeted. A stranger asked him for directions, then began walking alongside him. Near an industrial estate, the suspect suddenly pushed the victim in the chest, causing him to stumble.
Repeat Assault and Dangerous Chase
The attacker sexually touched the victim over his jeans. The victim fought back, pushed him away, and fled down Lower Farnham Road. But the suspect wasn’t done. He chased the victim, shoved him into a bush, pinned him down, and assaulted him again.
Victim Fights Back and Escapes
The victim punched the attacker twice in the face and ran screaming for help to the roundabout at Morland Road. The suspect fled the scene, disappearing into Morland Road.
Suspect Description and Police Appeal
- Dark, olive-skinned man
- Early 20s, average build
- Black, short hair
- Spoke with an Eastern European accent
- Wore a black zipped hoodie
