Late-night mugging shocks Balmoral Road

A man in his 40s was jumped and robbed at around 11pm on Thursday, 24 November 2022, near the train station on Balmoral Road. The victim was approached by an unknown attacker who assaulted him before stealing his mobile phone, wallet, and headphones.

Police hunt for suspect after CCTV clues

Investigating officer PC Hannah Corbishley said: “We have been making enquiries into this incident, including the examination of CCTV footage in the area, and are now appealing for information to help identify the suspect.”
