Hampshire Police hunt crowd after brutal Portsmouth brawl leaves man fighting for life
Hampshire Constabulary have released fresh images of a crowd they want to identify following a vicious assault in Portsmouth.
Officers were called to Festing Road, near the Festing Pub, late on Saturday 18 August after reports of a fight between two groups. The scuffle happened between 11:15pm and 11:35pm, with police alerted at 11:38pm.
A man in his 30s suffered serious, potentially life-changing injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he remains under treatment.
Thugs vanishing before cops arrive
The two groups had already dispersed by the time police arrived, leaving officers scrambling to piece together what happened.
Now, police want to speak with everyone in the newly released images. They believe those pictured could hold vital clues to the attack.
