Footage circulating on social media shows the student wrapping his hands around the teacher’s neck, attempting a headlock as they both leave the classroom. The tussle spills into a corridor, ending with the pair crashing to the floor in a full-on brawl.

The clip, posted on Snapchat and racking up over 270,000 views on Twitter, captures the teacher pinning the student down before they both spring back to their feet amid a continuing heated exchange.

The student involved was quickly expelled following the violent showdown, with the college describing the incident as “not a fight” but an isolated event handled by professionally trained staff.

A college spokesperson said:

“This incident happened several weeks ago at our Bromley Campus. Immediate action was taken, and the police were contacted. The safety and safeguarding of all students is our priority. We do not accept violence.”

They added that a thorough internal inquiry led to the student’s exclusion and confirmed the teacher is receiving “full support.”

Metropolitan Police Investigating

The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for further details on the case. Bromley College assured the public that staff are equipped to handle confrontations, reinforcing a zero-tolerance stance on violence.
