Knife-Point Robber Strikes Twice at Nottinghamshire Shell Station
Two Shocking Robberies Rattle Shell Staff
Nottinghamshire Police need your help to crack a knife-point robbery case at a Shell service station on Carlton Road. A man caught on CCTV is wanted in connection with two terrifying raids that left staff deeply shaken but thankfully unharmed.
£11,500 Stolen in Two Bold Heists
The first ordeal happened just before 7.30am on Friday, December 15. A knife-wielding crook with his face covered stormed into the store, threatening staff and demanding cash, e-cigarettes, and tobacco. He grabbed £187 in cash and an eye-watering £4,350 worth of vapes, cigarettes, and tobacco before fleeing with a black rucksack.
Just two weeks later on New Year’s Eve, the same suspect struck again. This time he made off with £300 in cash and around £6,000 of tobacco products.
Traumatised Staff Speak Out
“No one was seriously injured, but it has certainly terrified staff and left a lasting impression,” said Detective Constable Anabelle Lee. “One female staff member was particularly traumatised by the incident.”
Police Appeal for Help
The investigation is underway with forensic experts chasing multiple leads. Officers urgently want to identify the man in the released CCTV images to bring him to justice.
