Brazen ATM Heist Shocks Staplehurst Petrol Station

Kent Police are hunting crooks after an audacious grab of a cash machine from an Esso petrol station in Staplehurst.

JCB Used in Smash-and-Grab ATM Theft

Just after 2:50am on Saturday 25 January 2020, gangsters used a JCB digger to rip the ATM from the wall at the Iden Park garage on Cranbrook Road. The machine was then loaded onto a light-coloured flatbed van.

Getaway Vehicles Include Mitsubishi Shogun and Hatchback

The van sped off in convoy with a white or silver Mitsubishi Shogun and a dark hatchback. The raid left significant damage at the petrol station, sparking a full-scale probe.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detectives from Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are appealing for anyone who saw the crime or has dashcam or CCTV footage to call 01622 604100. Quote reference 46/15147/20 to help nail the thieves.
