Stabbing Sparks Major Police Lockdown in Bournemouth
Richmond Hill Drive in Bournemouth has been sealed off after a violent stabbing incident tonight. Police swooped on the area with a huge operation, including armed officers, ten squad cars, and unmarked vehicles.
Violent Assault Sends Two Men to Hospital
At 7:23pm, Dorset Police were called to reports of an assault involving two men on Richmond Hill Drive. Emergency teams arrived quickly, and by 8:55pm a large police cordon was in place as officers launched a full-scale investigation.
A Dorset Police spokesperson revealed, “Both men sustained stab wounds and have been taken to hospital for treatment. We do not have a condition update at this time.” One man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Residents Warned to Stay Clear as Inquiry Continues
Eye-witnesses reported more than ten emergency vehicles at the scene. The heavy police presence is ongoing while officers carry out their enquiries.
