Teen Brutally Attacked in Andover Domino’s by Gang of Hooligans
A mother from Andover, Hampshire, has blasted a gang who launched a shocking attack on her 16-year-old son inside a Domino’s pizza shop – smashing a bottle into his leg in a brutal, unprovoked assault.
Outrage as Son, with Autism and Epilepsy, Targeted by Mob
Kim Richens took to social media to expose the terrifying ordeal her son went through while simply waiting for a pizza. Her powerful post revealed how her son, who has epilepsy and autism, was viciously attacked by 5 men.
“If your 23 or 24-year-old son or boyfriend comes home covered in blood or bruises, just know it’s because he attacked a child – not on his own, but in a group of 8 or 10,” Kim wrote. “Our son was just standing waiting for pizza when these lads started kicking off.”
Kim’s husband was sitting outside in the car when the trouble began. He jumped in, trying to protect their son. Despite pleading that their son was only 16, the attackers ignored them. Her husband was forced to throw punches and even deliver a headbutt to defend his boy.
Horrific Bottle Attack Leaves Son Injured
The violence escalated when one of the attackers smashed a bottle and swung it at Kim’s son, aiming for his face but hitting his leg instead. The thugs then pounced on her husband as the pair fought off four men. Thankfully, staff inside Domino’s locked the doors to protect the boy until help arrived.
A brave passerby stepped in to break up the brawl, taking blows to the face twice himself while fighting off seven attackers. Kim praised the good Samaritan:
“You, sir, are a true gent. We are so grateful there are still decent people who see a child being attacked and step in to help.”
Family Demand Justice as Police Probe Ongoing
Kim says the attackers have yet to be arrested. Her son plays for Andover Town U23s, and the family promises to make sure everyone in the town knows who these bullies are. Kim demands harsh charges:
“I want them prosecuted for GBH or at least ABH. Then I’ll fight for the emotional and psychological damage they caused. They picked on the wrong child – bullies always do sooner or later.”
She also appealed for witnesses to come forward with any names:
“If anyone has information, please PM us. We’ll be using every contact we have to track them down.”
The family are determined to see justice served and warn: these hooligans will face the full force of the law and the wrath of the Andover community.
