Detectives in Paisley are hunting a pervert who attacked a 16-year-old girl at a bus shelter on Causeyside Street. The vile assault happened just after 6.15pm on Monday, 3 February 2025, sparking a frantic police hunt and urgent public appeal.
Suspect on the Run: What We Know
The suspect is a white male in his mid-20s with some standout features police want to highlight:
- Tall and slim with a thin face
- Shaved head and dark eyes
- Notoriously bad teeth – described as “rotten”
- Wearing a North Face jacket with the hood up
- Dark jogging bottoms and dark shoes

Detective Constable Kenny McLachlan from the CID is begging two groups to come forward:
- Two women who spoke with the victim right after the assault at the bus shelter.
- Motorists passing through the area around that time – check your dash-cams, you could hold crucial evidence.
