A heartless hit-and-run on the Isle of Wight has left a mum of one fighting for her life – and now fraudsters are preying on the family’s misery.

Becky Wall was struck by a BMW on Briddlesford Road at around 5:45pm last Thursday. The two occupants of the car fled the scene, leaving Becky with serious, life-threatening injuries. The family have been keeping a bedside vigil, urging the public for support. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with medical bills and recovery costs.
Fake Facebook Profiles Run Scam Donor Drives
But cruel fraudsters have jumped in, creating fake Facebook accounts impersonating family member Alex Blundell. They’ve been begging for Amazon gift cards, claiming to help Becky’s family.
