The crash left one man seriously injured and rushed to a major trauma centre. A 123 Ambulance Service spokesperson revealed:
“We were called at 6.01am today (28 March) to reports of a road traffic collision on Whitehorse Road.”
The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and other driving offences. He remains in police custody while the investigation continues.
