Man Arrested After Victim Left with Serious Head Injury
Sussex Police confirmed a man was arrested following the incident on the evening of 21st September. Officers rushed to the scene at around 6:27pm after reports of a serious assault.
“A man has been arrested in connection with an assault in St James’s Street, Brighton, this evening (Saturday 21 September). A man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury, where he remains at this time,” police said.
The suspect is currently in custody, held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with wounding.
