Hatton Garden Heist: Police Hunt Two Men After £74,000 Jewellery Raid
Detectives are on the case after a daring burglary at a Hatton Garden jewellers’ office. Cops released images of two men they want to question following the smash-and-grab on Thursday, 7 March.
Victim Tied Up in Chilling Knife Threat
At 12:35pm, officers found a female staff member tied to a chair inside the building on Clerkenwell’s Hatton Garden. She told police the trouble started when two men arrived asking to see her father.
After she explained he wasn’t there, the suspects pushed her down, threatened her with a knife, and demanded the safe keys. When she refused, they bound her before ransacking the premises.

The Met’s Central North CID is leading the investigation. They’ve released images of the two suspects, both white men aged 20s to early 30s with tanned skin and European accents.

- First man: Slim build, beard and moustache, wearing a hat and glasses
- Second man: Slim build, long brown hair, clean-shaven
Detective Constable Alina Blain: “This was a terrifying experience for the victim who has to relive it every day. We are pursuing multiple leads and urge anyone who recognises these men to come forward.”
