Tragedy on A21: Elderly Driver Dies in Horror Crash
A fatal smash shocked Hastings on Monday afternoon. At around 2pm on July 11, a Ford Kuga collided with an Isuzu D-Max on the A21 at Ebdens Hill, just south of Claremont School.
Elderly Man Killed, Young Driver Arrested
Tragically, a 70-year-old man from Chatham, Kent, was pronounced dead at the scene. Specialists are supporting his family through the harrowing ordeal.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He was later released while police continue their investigation.
