Tragic Crash on A21 in Hastings Claims Life of 70-Year-Old Driver

Deadly Collision Shakes Hastings Community

Police raced to a crash between a Ford Kuga and an Isuzu D-Max on the A21 at Ebdens Hill, Hastings, just south of Claremont School, at around 2pm on Monday, July 11.

Tragically, a 70-year-old man from Chatham, Kent was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say specially trained officers are now supporting his grieving family.

Suspect Arrested but Released

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been released pending further investigation.
