Police are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in Bradford city centre which left an 18-year-old man injured.

Officers were called at around 6pm on Tuesday, 18 August, following reports of an assault near The Drum Winder in Ivegate, Bradford.

An 18-year-old man was found injured and taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist their enquiries to come forward.

Anyone who was in the Ivegate area around the time of the stabbing and may have relevant mobile phone, CCTV or dashcam footage is also urged to contact police.

Enquiries remain ongoing.
