Teen Fights Off Phone Thief in Daylight Salisbury Attack
Bus Stop Robbery Attempt
Police are hunting for witnesses after a teen narrowly escaped a phone snatch attempt in Endless Street, Salisbury. The incident happened around 4.50pm on Thursday, 9th February.
Suspect Description
The suspect is a tanned white male in his 40s, about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He has brown hair, a short beard, and no glasses. The man was wearing jeans and got off a bus in Salisbury City Centre alongside another passenger.
Attack Near Pizza Express
As the teenager crossed the street near Pizza Express, the suspect asked for the time before suddenly lunging to grab the phone. Despite being punched, the quick-thinking teen held onto his phone, kicked the attacker, and sprinted to safety.
