Ten-Year-Old Grabbed in Fareham Park by Stranger

Police want to track down a man after a chilling incident at Fareham’s Cams Alders Recreation Ground.

Boy Snatched by Arms in Evening Encounter

At around 7pm on Monday 7 August, two young boys, aged 10 and 11, were building a den when a stranger started following them. Both lads ran off, but one returned shortly afterwards — and was grabbed by the arms by the same man.

Thankfully, the boy wasn’t hurt and managed to run home safely.

E-Fit Released as Police Hunt Suspect

The man is described as:

  • White, late 40s
  • Between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall
  • Average build
  • Blue eyes
  • Short black hair, balding on top
  • Wearing a red Manchester United shirt, blue denim jeans, and black boots

Neighbourhood officers have been patrolling the park and piecing together the events. No other reports like this have surfaced in Fareham.
