Thames Valley Police Hunt Arson Duo After Reading Gym Blaze

Early Morning Break-In Ends in Fireball

Just after 2:40am on Friday, 30 January 2026, troublemakers smashed their way into the Atrium Health Club in Reading. The two suspects forced open the glass door, then poured a flammable liquid over the gym floor and set it on fire in a shocking arson attack.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the blaze.

Police Release CCTV, Urge Public to Help

Thames Valley Police have now put out CCTV images of the suspects, hoping someone will recognise them. Detective Constable Johanna Grant said:

“I know the quality isn’t perfect, but if this is you, or you think you know who these people are, please get in touch. Any information will help us catch those responsible and stop further dangerous acts. Call 101 or report online with reference 43260048460.”

Community Help Needed to Nail Arsonists

Authorities are desperate to track down the culprits behind this reckless attack. The public’s eye could be the key to bringing these arsonists to justice before anyone else gets hurt.
