Man Left Fighting for Life After Car Crashes into Tree Near Steventon

Thames Valley Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a silver Toyota Yaris smashed into a tree near Milton Hill, just by Q Garden Centre in Steventon.

The crash happened at around 6.35am today. The driver, a 21-year-old man, suffered life-changing injuries and was airlifted to John Radcliffe Hospital, where he remains seriously ill.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

PC Darren Baker, investigating from Abingdon police station, said: “We need anyone with info on this collision to get in touch immediately.”

He added that a woman stopped to speak to the injured man but left before emergency services arrived. Officers are keen to track her down.
