Life-Changing Crash in West Meon: Police Hunt Witnesses After Serious Collision
Police are urgently seeking witnesses after a horrific crash on the A32 in West Meon left a young man with life-changing injuries. The smash happened at 3.30pm on Tuesday, May 3, involving a red Seat Ibiza and a silver Audi TT.
23-Year-Old Suffers Serious Injuries
The Audi’s 23-year-old backseat passenger was badly hurt and is now receiving treatment at Southampton General Hospital. The Seat’s 39-year-old female driver and her 10-year-old daughter escaped with whiplash.
Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.
Police Appeal: Did You See the Crash?
Acting Police Sergeant Melanie Adcock of the Joint Operations Unit said: “We know there were other cars nearby when the collision happened and we want to hear from anyone who saw the crash or spotted either vehicle beforehand.”
