While police still believe Nicola fell into the River Wyre, Lancashire Police Superintendent Sally Riley said it’s “still a possibility” she left via a path not covered by CCTV cameras. However, she stressed that “every single” criminal lead has been ruled out so far.
Dashcam Hunt Underway on Busy Village Road
The mysterious path crosses the main road through St. Michael’s on Wyre village. Officers are now chasing dashcam footage from around 700 drivers who passed the route at about 9.20 a.m. on January 27.
