Tragic Death of 20-Year-Old Tyler in Scaffolding Lorry Crash
Tyler Carley, just 20, died instantly when the scaffolding lorry he was travelling in flipped over at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, 5 December, in Thornbury. The young passenger had his whole life ahead of him, but his plans were cruelly cut short.
Family Heartbroken Over Sudden Loss
“Sadly, our whole world got turned upside down on 05 December when we lost our beautiful boy Tyler. He was only 20 and had so many plans still, with loads of festivals booked,” said his family.
“Tyler loved nights out with friends, football, and holidays with family. He had a big trip planned to celebrate his 21st birthday and his mum Gemma’s 40th.”
“He sent his mum a text just 45 minutes before the crash, completely unaware he wouldn’t come home.”
“Tyler will be hugely missed by mum Gemma, dad Mark, brother Kylan, sisters Skye and Ronnie-Irene, step-parents Matt and Tracey, plus all his family and friends.”
“His death has left a massive hole in everyone’s heart.”
Police Continue Investigation, Man Released Under Investigation
Tyler’s next of kin are receiving support from specially trained family liaison officers during this heartbreaking time. The police have arrested a man in connection with the crash, but he has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
