Teen Murdered in Luton Street Attack
Derrick, 19, from Luton, was fatally attacked on Hucklesby Way around 8.20pm last Friday (14 April).
Emergency crews rushed him to hospital, but he died from his injuries. Police have launched a full murder investigation.
Family Mourns Young Derrick
“Derrick was liked and loved by many friends, and dearly cherished by his family and all those around him,” the family said in a statement.
“The news of his passing is painful. He will be very sorely missed. We ask that our privacy is respected during this difficult time.”
Police Urge Public Not to Share Footage
Officers are aware of distressing images circulating on social media. They urge the public not to share any videos or speculate about the case, out of respect for Derrick’s family and friends.
