Man Slashed in Portsmouth Night Attack
Police are hunting witnesses after a 26-year-old man was seriously assaulted in Portsmouth last night (Wednesday 30 September).
Blue Car Involved in Shocking Gamble Road Attack
Around 9:10pm, the victim was walking along Gamble Road when a man jumped out of a blue vehicle and attacked him. The victim suffered a nasty cut to his neck before the attacker sped off.
The injured man managed to call for help on Derby Road and was rushed to Q+A Hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Arrest Made, Police Seek Dash Cam Footage
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody. Officers are patrolling the area and speaking to locals.
