The details aren’t set in stone yet. However, it looks like all non-essential shops, pubs, bars, and leisure spots could face closure, just like in March’s lockdown. Essential shops and education facilities – including nurseries and schools – should remain open.

Job Scam Alert: Fraudsters Target the Unemployed
As unemployment surges, so do fake job adverts. Reports of these scams jumped 70% from March to October, warns SAFERjobs, the group fighting employment fraud.
Since the pandemic began, SAFERjobs has logged 750 scam reports. These frauds typically trick jobseekers into handing over money or sharing personal details. The organisation estimates around 3,750 victims have fallen prey so far.
