Burglar Strikes Twice: Pubs in Thanet Targeted Overnight
Kent Police are hot on the trail after two pubs in St Nicholas At Wade were hit by burglars. The attacks happened overnight between Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 May, with thieves stealing cash and smashing fruit machines to grab more cash.
Cash and Cash Machines Raided in Bold Break-Ins
Both pubs, located on The Street, reported significant amounts of cash stolen. The crooks didn’t stop there—they smashed into fruit machines to loot even more money. Police investigations are well underway.
Inspector Warns Pubs: Tighten Security Now!
“We ask that business owners take the time to review their security, ensure their premises are locked up at the end of the working day, and not to store quantities of cash onsite if possible,” said Inspector Lara Connor of Thanet Community Safety Unit.
