Knife Seized and Three Arrested in Isle of Wight Brawl
Morning Mayhem on Ryde Esplanade
Police swooped early Saturday after reports of an assault near Ryde’s Superbowl at 9:20am. A man in his 20s suffered a broken nose during the scuffle.
Knife Arrest Made
A 25-year-old Ryde man was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon in public and suspicion of assault. Officers confirmed a knife was taken off the streets.
Two More Arrests Follow
- A 17-year-old from Ryde was held on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly in public.
- A 26-year-old Ryde resident was detained over criminal damage.
All three are now in custody at Newport police station as investigations continue.
