Kent Police Smash Class A Drug Ring in Early Morning Raids
Just before 6am on Wednesday 7 July 2021, Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team swooped on two Chatham addresses – one on the High Street and another on Eden Avenue – with search warrants.
Three Arrested in Connection with Class A Drugs
The raids led to the arrest of a 24-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, both from Chatham, on suspicion of class A drug supply offences.
Meanwhile, a third warrant in Washington Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, saw a 25-year-old local man arrested on suspicion of involvement in the supply of class A drugs.
Heroin and Crack Cocaine Seized in Major Haul
Officers seized significant quantities of heroin and crack cocaine, along with mobile phones used in the operation. All three suspects remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
