Fuel Snatchers Strike Near Barham and Harbledown

Kent Police have been hunting vandals who stole diesel from lorries parked in A2 laybys between Sunday, January 9, and Tuesday, January 11, 2022. The first two fuel thefts happened near Barham, with a third reported close to Harbledown.

Suspects nabbed after late-night stop in Canterbury

In a swift move, the East Kent CID stopped a suspicious vehicle on New Dover Road, Canterbury, just after 1:30am on Wednesday, January 12. Three men aged 40, 29, and 24 were arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of tools used for stealing diesel.

The trio were released under investigation as inquiries continue, and police have collected several tools as evidence.
