Masked Thieves Strike Pets at Home in Basingstoke – Police Hunt Clues
Hampshire Police are on the lookout after a brazen robbery at the Pets at Home store in Wallop Drive, Basingstoke. The drama unfolded around 5.30pm on Sunday 29 April, just as staff were locking up for the night.
Shop Staff Threatened to Let Robbers In
A lone man threatened a staff member, forcing her to unlock the store. He was soon joined by two accomplices. Together, they made off with a stash of cash. Notably, they used a blue waste bin stolen from the store to haul away the loot.
Thankfully, no one was hurt during the raid.
