Three Men Smash Car Windows to Snatch Tech in Basingstoke Robbery

Police are hunting three crooks after a brazen robbery at a Basingstoke Morrisons car park in the early hours of Wednesday, 1 August.

A man in his 40s was parked in his car on Worting Road between 2am and 2.30am when three men approached and tried to open the locked doors. They demanded his laptop.

The suspects then smashed the car windows and grabbed two phones, a laptop, and an iPad. The victim fought back but suffered minor injuries in the struggle.

Suspects Flee Towards Underpass Near Wicks

All three men fled towards the nearby underpass by Wicks. Police describe them as:

  • Suspect 1: White male, 20-25, 5ft 6in, slight build, short hair. Wearing a blue jacket, light jeans, white trainers. Spoke with an Eastern European accent.
  • Suspect 2: White male, 20-25, wearing dark clothing.
  • Suspect 3: White male, 20-25, wearing a baseball cap.
