Masked Man Slashes Two in Shocking Rochester Flat Attack
Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a brutal assault in Rochester left two men injured.
Violent Break-In on London Road
The drama unfolded at 7.45pm on 20 August 2020 when a man forced his way into a flat on London Road and attacked two men inside. One victim suffered slash wounds to his face.
Fleeing Attacker Tries to Steal Car
The suspect then fled towards Northcote Road playing fields and tried to snatch a vehicle from a passing motorist. The victim fought back, also receiving slash wounds during the struggle. The attacker fled on foot.
Suspects Arrested, Police Seek Witnesses
Emergency crews rushed the three injured to hospital. None have life-threatening injuries. Police have arrested a 35-year-old man from Chatham on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and a 19-year-old woman from Strood for obstructing a police officer. Both remain in custody.
The suspect is described as a white man, around 6ft tall and slim, with a shaved head and a tattoo on his neck. He wore blue jeans, a blue zip-up jacket over a white polo, and a navy baseball cap.
