Late-Night Stabbing Shakes Castlefield
Detectives are hunting for answers after a man and woman were stabbed on Slate Wharf, Castlefield just after midnight on Sunday, 4 August 2024. Both victims were rushed to hospital with serious injuries, but police say their lives are not in danger.
Crime Scene Still Active as Police Investigate
Officers have kept the area sealed off while specialists comb the scene for evidence. Inspector Gul Khan vowed a strong police presence in the area as the probe intensifies.
“People nearby will see more officers and experts working hard to gather evidence and find the attacker,” said Inspector Khan. “We’ve reviewed CCTV and spoken to witnesses but urgently need anyone who saw or heard anything to come forward.”
