Police are hunting for witnesses after two men were sprayed with a mystery liquid—believed to be ammonia—in Eastbourne.

Hero Helpers Targeted After Crash

The drama unfolded at 8.51am on Saturday, August 29, on St Anne’s Road. A black Renault Megane was involved in a minor crash. When the driver got out, two good Samaritans rushed to help.

Instead of gratitude, the driver doused them in a liquid, suspected to be ammonia.

Victims Recovering, Suspect at Large

Both victims are receiving medical care. Their injuries appear minor for now. The driver fled the scene, and police are scrambling to find him.
