Tragic Crash on B981 Claims Woman’s Life
Road cops in Fife are hunting witnesses after a fatal smash near Crossgates. On Monday, August 14 at around 12:30pm, a 58-year-old woman died following a collision on the B981.
Red and White Truck Collides with White Vauxhall Astra
The crash involved a red and white Scania articulated lorry and a white Vauxhall Astra. Emergency teams rushed to the scene, but sadly, the Astra’s driver couldn’t be saved and was pronounced dead at the spot. Thankfully, no one else was hurt.
Police Launch Full Investigation – Witnesses Urged to Speak Up
Sergeant Colin Morrison offered his condolences to the bereaved family. “We’re carrying out a thorough investigation to uncover how this tragedy unfolded,” he said. Officers are calling on anyone who saw the crash to come forward with information.
