Teen Arrested After Armed Police Swarm South Bristol Street

The quiet of Marksbury Road was shattered around 7pm when armed officers were called to a serious incident. Police also scrambled a helicopter to hunt for the suspects.

Two Teen Boys Held Over Attempted Murder

By 8:30pm, cops had arrested two teenage boys aged 15 and 16 from another south Bristol address. Both remain in custody, suspected of attempted murder.

Victim Injured But Expected to Recover

The victim was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say their condition isn’t expected to be life-changing.

“We understand the community’s concern. This incident involved young people who knew each other,” said Detective Inspector Peter Walker. “We’re conducting a thorough investigation.”
