Man Left with Facial Injuries After Late-Night Street Attack in St Ann’s

Assault Rocks Shelton Street

A man was left battered with facial injuries following a brutal attack in the early hours of 16 April 2022. The shocking assault happened around 1.40am on Shelton Street, St Ann’s.

He was rushed to hospital and is currently receiving treatment. Luckily, police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or permanent.

Quick Police Response Leads to Arrests

Officers arrived on scene within minutes, launching a fast-paced investigation. Their swift actions led to the arrest of three suspects: two women, aged 32 and 30, and a 53-year-old man. All face charges of causing grievous bodily harm and remain in police custody.

Police Plea for Witnesses

Detective Sergeant Jon Kerry of Nottinghamshire Police urged the public to come forward with information. “Our enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with info must contact us immediately,” he said.

“Violence like this won’t be tolerated. We’re committed to keeping our streets safe and ensuring those responsible are brought to justice.”
