Massive Search Underway for Missing 21-Year-Old Edward Jerram
The hunt is on for Edward Jerram, 21, who vanished from his Moreton home on Saturday, 6 June. Police and rescue teams are scrambling to find him after three weeks with no sign.
Search Zone Spreads Across Essex Countryside
Officers, backed by Essex Lowland Search and Rescue, are scouring a huge 4.5km radius from Edward’s last known location. The search stretches from Matching Green in the north to Marden Ash in the south, and from North Weald Bassett in the west to Willingale in the east.
Worries Grow Over Missing Man’s Health
“Edward has been missing for more than three weeks now and we’re becoming increasingly worried for his welfare,” said Superintendent Craig Saunders. “He enjoys the outdoors and is used to spending time outside, but he needs medication he currently doesn’t have with him. The longer he goes without it, the greater our concern.”
Police are deploying drone teams and the National Police Air Service to assist in the large-scale operation. They urge locals to give space for the search efforts but to come forward immediately with any sightings or information.
