Drunk Van Driver Busted After Crash on A27 Bognor Bridge, Chichester
A van driver is insanely lucky to be alive after a serious smash on the A27 Bognor Bridge roundabout in Chichester last night.
Crash Sparks Emergency Response
The white Vauxhall Combo van went up in flames – well, almost – after colliding on the busy roundabout just before 9pm on Saturday evening. Fire crews from Chichester raced to the scene to lend a hand, alongside ambulance and police teams.
Drunk Driving Arrest Made at the Scene
West Sussex Roads Police confirmed the van driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after failing a roadside breathalyser test. The suspect was hauled off to Chichester police station for questioning.
